Violence Prevention & Threat Management

The mission of the Violence Prevention and Threat Management Program is to identify, deescalate, and decrease violent activity from negatively impacting our students, faculty, staff, and university community. Our staff work with a number of university partners to address behaviors of concern that include; but are not limited to, threatening communications directed towards one’s self or others, threatening behaviors, physical violence, stalking or unwanted pursuit, domestic or interpersonal violence, sexual violence, or other activities that may be violations of NC State’s Campus/Workplace Violence Regulation. Individuals of concern may be identified as students, staff, faculty, or non-affiliated individuals.
